Wagering requirements explained
A wagering requirement is the condition attached to almost every bonus: the amount you must stake before bonus funds, or winnings from them, can be withdrawn. It is the single term that determines whether an offer is worth claiming.
How the multiple works
A requirement is expressed as a multiple — for example 5x. If it applies to a R100 bonus, you must place R500 in qualifying bets before the funds convert to withdrawable cash.
Read carefully whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone or to the deposit plus bonus. The same headline number means very different things in each case.
What usually does not count
- Bets below a minimum odds threshold — very short-priced selections are commonly excluded.
- Bets cashed out before settlement, which often contribute nothing.
- Both sides of the same market, staked to cover every outcome.
- Certain markets or products, depending on the offer.
- Bets placed after the offer’s expiry window has closed.
The questions to ask before claiming
- What is the multiple, and does it apply to the bonus or the deposit plus bonus?
- What is the minimum qualifying price?
- How long do I have?
- Is there a maximum withdrawal from bonus winnings?
- Does cashing out void the contribution?
Before you claim
Offer values, expiry windows and qualifying terms change without notice. Nothing on this page is an offer — always read the terms shown on the promotion itself at the point of claiming.
